Event Director Tina Beal
Tina Beal has been with Callaway’s since July of 2007 and has been the Event Director since November of 2008.
A passion for the event planning industry since a young age, it all began at home. Tina grew up in a crafty country home where you made homemade invitations, cards and sometimes even gifts for nearly everything. One entire room in her childhood home was called the “Craft Room” and creativity plastered every corner of the space. “I remember as a kid, my mom always planned the best homemade birthday parties! Every party at our house and every holiday event had a THEME!”
This environment was simply fuel for future adventures! In middle school, a series of events lead to a thrill for the wedding industry. “I was cutting pictures out of magazines and making them into “wedding binders”, not because I wanted to get married but because I wanted to plan weddings!”
Never really leaving the dream of wedding planning behind, Tina headed off to college at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. Beginning as a vocal performance major but not falling in love with it, Tina took a class titled Principles of Public Relations on whim. After a grueling semester of public relations & marketing campaigns, event planning and tons of presentations to earn an “A” in class, she was hooked! “It was as though a light switch had gone off and I knew I had found a passion!”
College lead to involvement with PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) as well as PRide (Public Relation Interns Develop Expertise). These two organizations coupled with studies and off-campus interns made a clear path into the event planning industry.
Career experience includes Community Awareness & Education Coordinator for Fahr Beverage in Waterloo, Iowa as well as Space Management Coordinator for Beal Distributing in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
